My heart is filled, as General Conference has come to a close. Life can have its ups and downs, but I know that as we do our absolute best, and never give up, we are sure blessed. I know even praying was difficult for me these last couple weeks. I am so grateful I know the power that comes from humble prayer, and the importance of keeping that connection daily. Thankfully, because of my steadfastness in the Lord, He showed me He would remain there, and help me through. General Conference was awesome, but is it ever anything less? I don’t think so. Anyway, through the thick and thin of the past couple weeks, I have come to some important moments of realization. One of those realizations consisted of me thinking to myself (several times) This blog is not enough. It’s good, but it’s not enough. I want to reach more people. I want to help more people. I want to get out there, and help people face to face. I want to be a speaker. I want to be a motivational speaker.
I will always continue blogging, and I am still trying to figure out what should and should not go in my first book, but I think my greatest desire of all (or of most, at the moment) is to motivate people in person. There is a whole lot of heartache that our Generation Y receives in our short lives already, and I know from experience what one individual’s magnanimous, spirit-filled, faith-promoting testimony can do to a group of many. And I know what I have to offer. I want to do the absolute most I am capable of to even help just one more person.
So, in my attempt to start on this path, I have updated my Instagram bio to also state “Motivational Speaker,” along with gathering several names to reach out to. I will update my Facebook, blog, and blog page to assist me in my missionary efforts as well. And my inquiry of you is that if you have any idea of someone that may be able to help, or may be willing to welcome me to their high school, middle school, church fireside, or anywhere else with children or young people (young adults especially included) in need of some spiritual assistance – some strengthening of their feeble knees – please message me at FromWhichWeGrow@gmail.com with their information (of course, as I have endured a variety of trials, I can have quite the tailored deliverance for the assembly). It would be greatly appreciated. And know that I will still keep this blog alive during my busiest moments, because my readers matter to me just as much as any. I love you all, and I thank you for all the support you show me, and all the information and contacts you may be able to provide me with. God bless.
